Echoes Beneath the Surface

This work explores the fragile remains of identity after erosion, memory, and transformation. Built from acrylic, resin, broken mirror particles, and fluorescent pigment, the mask appears suspended between presence and disappearance.

Its fractured surface reflects scattered fragments of light, while the fluorescent layers reveal a second hidden state in darkness. What seems silent during the day slowly awakens at night, exposing traces that cannot fully vanish.

The work suggests that identity never completely dissolves. Beneath every surface remain echoes:
of emotion,
of memory,
of what once existed.

The mask no longer conceals.
It becomes the residue of a presence still searching to be seen.
