MEMORIES THAT REFUSE TO FADE

HM-ART1528 Acrylic on wooden panel, resin, broken mirror particles, and fluorescent pigment 85 × 85 cm

This work explores the persistence of emotional memory long after visible identity begins to erode. Built from acrylic, resin, broken mirror particles, and fluorescent pigment, the surface appears unstable — suspended between corrosion, reflection, and light.

The crimson and rust-colored textures evoke wounded matter slowly transforming over time. Yet beneath the fragmented surface, reflective particles continue capturing light like traces refusing to disappear completely.

In darkness, hidden fluorescent layers emerge and alter the perception of the work once again. What first appears damaged gradually reveals another silent presence concealed beneath the visible structure.

The mask no longer functions as protection.
It becomes a fragile archive of everything that could not fully vanish.
