REMNANTS OF LIGHT

HM-ART1524 Acrylic on wooden panel, resin, broken mirror particles, and fluorescent pigment 85 × 85 cm

This work explores the fragile boundary between presence and disappearance. Under daylight, the surface reveals texture, fractures, and material depth. In darkness, fluorescent pigments awaken another hidden identity beneath the visible layer.

The mask becomes unstable:
never fully fixed,
never entirely gone.

Both editions capture only one temporary state of the same work. The transformation itself remains impossible to preserve completely, existing only in the transition between light and darkness.

What appears permanent during the day dissolves at night into memory, residue, and echo.
