The idea of creating this artwork started at that time when Iceland lived in a deep financial crisis. Even before, there was an open question in relation with the gigantic debt mountain in the European countries. The artist already felt the disaster coming up by the end of 2007. Initiating this artwork in 2010, the artist already saw a bright spot at the level of Flanders in Belgium.

Is a composition in which the work ‘Thanks to Barroso’ has been processed. A serum container contains the perspiration of the hard-working European, which is constantly injected drop by drop into the expensive European administration.

Het idee om dit kunstwerk te maken begon in de tijd dat Iceland in een diepe financiële crisis verkeerde. Eerder was er al een open vraag over de gigantische schuldenberg in de Europese landen. Eind 2007 voelde de kunstenaar de ramp al aankomen. Met de start van dit kunstwerk in 2010 zag de kunstenaar al een lichtpuntje op het niveau van Vlaanderen in België.

Is een compositie waarin het werk ‘Thanks to Barroso’ is verwerkt. Een serumcontainer bevat het transpiratievocht van de hardwerkende Europeaan, die constant druppelsgewijs wordt geïnjecteerd in de dure Europese administratie.

A ideia de criar esta obra de arte começou em um momento em que a Islândia estava em uma profunda crise financeira. Anteriormente já havia uma questão em aberto sobre a gigantesca montanha de dívidas nos países europeus. No final de 2007, o artista já pressentia o desastre chegando. Com o início desta obra de arte em 2010, o artista viu um ponto positivo ao nível da Flandres na Bélgica.
Instalação ÁGUA PALESTINA UMA VEZ MUDOU EM VINHO, AGORA O SUOR EUROPEU ESTÁ MUDANDO EM SANGUE-2011-
É uma composição na qual se incorpora a obra ‘Graças a Barroso’. Um recipiente de soro contém a transpiração do europeu trabalhador, que é constantemente injetada gota a gota na cara administração européia.
