HM-ART1066- Oil on canvas 80x100cm Part of Artistic Installation
At the height of uncertainty, when the foundations of Europe began to tremble under the weight of debt and illusion, this work was born. What once appeared stable revealed itself as fragile—an entire system balancing between control and collapse.
The globe, suspended between two hands, is not merely held—it is presented, judged, perhaps even surrendered. Beneath its surface, subtle fractures bleed through, hinting at tensions hidden behind political promises and economic structures. What is carried here is not just a continent, but the burden of decisions, of responsibility, and of consequence.
This painting is inspired by a story in the Testament where Water was changed into Wine. European sweat changes here into Blood. The installation reflects a moment of awareness—an intuition that something irreversible had already begun long before it became visible to all. Yet within that tension, there remains a quiet question: is collapse inevitable, or can awareness still reshape destiny?
In its extension as an installation, the message becomes more visceral. A medical infusion slowly releases what is described as the “sweat” of the working individual—transformed, drop by drop, into something far heavier. What once symbolized effort and contribution now becomes sacrifice. The system does not simply function—it consumes.
This work stands as both observation and confrontation. It does not accuse directly, but it does not hide either. It invites the viewer to reflect:
How much can a system take before it begins to bleed?
