THE CHURCH OF AUVERS

HM-ART1059- Acrylic on canvas 90x110cm

In June 1890, Vincent van Gogh painted The Church of Auvers, transforming a familiar building into an emotional landscape filled with movement and intensity.

Using this iconic work as inspiration, eight student artists were asked to reinterpret the same image.

Although they all started from the exact same reference, each returned with a completely different result.

Some focused on color, others on atmosphere, structure, or emotion. The exercise revealed how differently people observe and translate the world around them.

One image became eight unique realities.
