ROLLERCOASTER
HM-ART1504- Oil on canvas 120x150cm
Created after an intensive seminar with twenty business leaders, Rollercoaster captures the emotional instability that emerges when deeply rooted beliefs are challenged.
Participants were forced to “de-learn” established ways of thinking and confront completely new perspectives about success, leadership, and life itself.
At first, the experience created insecurity and resistance.
Their familiar structures disappeared, leaving many feeling disoriented and vulnerable.
Yet through that instability came transformation.
Difficult but essential decisions followed — decisions that ultimately reshaped both their personal and professional lives.
The physical presentation of the painting becomes part of the concept itself.
Hung from an off-center corner, the work tilts diagonally on the wall, turning the viewer’s orientation upside down. Only within that imbalance does the signature return to a horizontal position.
The work suggests that clarity sometimes appears only after we accept instability.
Before a new balance can emerge, the old one must first collapse.
