HM GALLERY
SCULPTURAL DIALOGUES
A curated selection of international sculptors and painters exploring material, transformation, memory and human presence.
CURATORIAL VISION
HM Gallery brings together contemporary and historical artists whose works resonate through material, gesture and human presence.
Rather than assembling objects, the gallery creates dialogues between worlds — where sculpture, painting and form become carriers of memory, transformation and silent tension.
Each work is selected not only for its aesthetic presence, but for the atmosphere and emotional resonance it introduces into space.

KOBE (Jacques SAELENS)- (°1950-2014)
Kobe was a Belgian sculptor whose works explored the human body through simplified monumental forms and powerful sculptural balance.
Inspired by travels through Latin America, Africa and Asia, his sculptures combine sensuality, silence and timeless presence.
Working between Belgium and Pietrasanta in Italy, Kobe developed a distinctive visual language of broad, elongated figures shaped by gesture, material and inner tension.
Jan DESMARETS (°1961)
Jan Desmarets is a Belgian sculptor known for his dynamic bronze works exploring strength, movement and sensuality in humans and animals.
His signature style is marked by the deliberate removal of material, allowing the viewer to mentally complete the sculpture through imagination and suggestion.
In 2003, he was commissioned to create the official wedding gift for Prince Laurent and Princess Claire of Belgium.
“We do not collect objects.
We collect presence.”
