CHEGA- ENOUGH IS ENOUGH 2
HM-ART1544- Acrylic on wooden board, resin, 85x85cm
“You don’t see the break
when it happens.
You see it
when it can no longer be hidden.”
At first—
it is contained.
Small fractures.
Barely visible.
The surface still holds.
The image still makes sense.
But beneath—
pressure builds.
Not from the outside alone.
From everything
that has been held in place
for too long.
What was once flexible
becomes rigid.
What was once whole
begins to divide.
And then—
it appears.
Not as collapse.
As exposure.
The face remains.
Recognizable.
Present.
But no longer seamless.
Every fragment
tells its own story.
Of resistance.
Of tension.
Of something
that refused to disappear.
This is not destruction.
It is truth
breaking through structure.
Because what is real
does not always remain intact.
It shifts.
It cracks.
It reveals.
And once seen—
it cannot be unseen.
